Sanjiv Laud
PRINCIPAL ATTORNEY
I help clients navigate intellectual property disputes. My experience in patent litigation includes numerous trials, post-grant proceedings, and appeals at the Federal Circuit. I have also handled trademark, copyright, trade secret, and antitrust litigation, as well as a variety of non-litigation engagements.
I have won accolades from clients, courts, and colleagues for my oral advocacy skills. As a writer, I blend rigorous analysis with creativity and style to create memorable and persuasive briefs. Although I have a degree in physics, my secret weapon is my background in music and theater.
PERSONABLE • STRATEGIC
Before joining McCurdy Laud, I practiced for seven and a half years in large law firms, as an associate at Williams & Connolly and an associate and partner at Jones Day. I started my career with clerkships at the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Federal Circuit.
Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing, reading, cooking, and spending time with my growing family. I am a proud Green Bay Packers shareholder.
